Juventus Have Offered Cristiano Ronaldo To Barcelona And He Could Play With Lionel Messi

Cristiano Ronaldo has been offered to Barcelona by current club Juventus according to shock reports from Guillem Balague.

Ronaldo joined the Italian side from Real Madrid back in 2018 with the club seeing him as the man to win them the Champions League.

However, Juventus have gone out in the last 16 in both of the 35-year-old's campaigns and they could be ready to cash in.

Balague has revealed the club are desperate to offload his wages and have 'offered him everywhere, including Barcelona.'

It would be a shocking move considering Ronaldo's status as a Madrid legend, as well as the chances of him linking up with Lionel Messi.

Ronaldo and Messi have been rivals for the last decade with the pair trading Ballon d'Or wins constantly.

The duo have never played in the same team together but they'd strike fear into the heart of any defence.

Juventus suffered a shocking elimination from the Champions League at the hands of Lyon on Friday night and it resulted in Maurizio Sarri's sacking.

Ronaldo scored two goals as Juventus won 2-1 on the night, but Lyon's away goal in the first leg saw them go through at 2-2 on aggregate.

The Portuguese international took to Instagram following the news of Sarri's sacking and posted an emotional message to his fans.

"The 2019/20 season is over for us, much later than usual but yet sooner than we expected," he begun.

"Now it's time for reflection, time to analyse the ups and downs because critical thinking is the only way to improve.

"A huge club such as Juventus must always think like the best in the world, work like the best in the world, so that we can call ourselves one of the best and biggest clubs in the world.

"Winning the Serie A once again in such a difficult year is something that we are very proud of. Personally, scoring 37 goals for Juventus and 11 for the Portuguese National Team is something that makes me face the future with renewed ambition and desire to keep doing better and better each year.

"But the fans demand more from us. They expect more from us. And we have to deliver, we must live up to the highest expectations.

"May this short vacation break allow us all to make the best decisions for the future and come back stronger and more committed than ever.
.
"See you soon!"

Do you think Cristiano Ronaldo will leave Juventus this summer?

Defender Tuanzebe sues former club Man Utd

Former Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe is suing the club for alleged negligent medical advice. The 27-year-old, who joined Burnley earlier this month, filed a legal claim with the High Court against United last week. It relates to a period from July 2022 involving an unknown injury and is considered a high value claim, which is understood to be more than £1m. Tuanzebe was out for 195 days in his final season at the club before he was loaned to Stoke in January 2023, where he made just five appearances. He joined the club when he was eight, making his debut in 2017, and played 37 times for them before leaving in the summer of 2023, joining Ipswich as a free agent that September. The right-back captained United at every level and his final appearance for the club was in the 2021 Europa League final loss to Villarreal, where he scored in the shootout as they lost 11-10 on penalties. The former England Under-21 international - who now represents DR Congo - also had thr...

He then played in new signing Joao Pedro, who followed up his two-goal performance against Fluminense with a cool finish over Gianluigi Donnarumma as Paris Saint-Germain, who had ...

WRU considers cutting up to two regional teams

The Welsh Rugby Union is considering halving the number of regions in Wales as part of a new domestic structure by the 2027-28 season. The governing body says it is entering a formal consultation with the Professional Rugby Board (PRB) and could reduce the number of regions to three or even two. In a statement, the WRU said the current system is failing and is unsustainable, having already confirmed it does not intend to continue equally funding four professional teams in the men's game. Cardiff, Dragons, Ospreys and Scarlets are the four current sides, with the WRU saying it wants a "more radical" strategy to be completed by October. The Union said it would consult on a reduction to three or two regions to ensure Wales has "teams that can compete" at the top of the professional game. The shake-up also comes after the men's side suffered its worst season with nine defeats in 10 games that drew a total losing sequence of 18 matches, a run that onl...
